ABOUT
Gitte Roed Egeberg

The chemistry between client and coach is the base of co-working . Here are a few facts about me to give you an idea, about who I am and how I work.
I am Danish, 50 years old, mother of three daughters. I understand the Nordic languages and am fluent in English. After 6 years in Spain, I speak Spanish fairly well.
I have my degree in coaching and psychotherapy from the Danish OPIN institute, where I graduated in 2009. Before that I took a Diploma Degree in English and French, and a Bachelors Degree in Danish and History. Apart from that, I have worked more than 20 years in special care, with physically and mentally handicapped people.
As part of my postgraduate education, I have a specialised education in trauma therapy, where you focus on NOT to reactivate the trauma. This is a much more subtle and gentle approach to normalise the events that have given you the psychological defence structures that we all have, and which sometimes stand in our way, when we try to achieve our goals in life. Trauma is many things not just accidents etc. but much more commonly occurring things such as neglect in all shapes and forms.
Working with trauma we don't start from Adam and Eve. We start in the moment with the issues that are troubling you now and from there we'll look for patterns that are repeating themselves. Situations you always seem to find yourself in, or feelings that keep dominating. All the things that keep you from achieving your goals.
